OUR PURPOSE
Safety is a Human Right.
Our work centers on two priorities: Violence Prevention and Resource Connection. We raise awareness about issues that affect individual and community safety, share educational information, participate in prevention efforts, and help connect people with established organizations, programs, and services that can meet their needs.

Prevention happens in the community.
That means showing up, building relationships, collaborating with other organizations, creating opportunities for people to get involved, and supporting conversations that can lead to meaningful change.
Safe Steps does not try to be every service for every person. We help people find the right doors, strengthen connections between people and resources, and work alongside our community to make safety more accessible.
